I am an educator, homeschool parent, and writer of blogs, fiction, copy, curriculum, and more. In 2002 I graduated Smith College with a double major in math and physics and have received masters degrees in both subjects from the University of Oregon. I have taught introductory college level math, physics, and astronomy for over a decade and worked as a freelance writer and editor, including founding MicrofictionMondayMagazine.com. Open-minded, yet skeptical and opinionated, I regularly follow new ideas down every possible rabbit hole in order to get as close to objective truths as possible.
